I watched the whole video and read all your posts! Thank you for sharing your experiences, you guys are amazing! Are you planning to go back to Palawan? I've only been there once, and regrettably, only stayed in Puerto Princesa. I've been thinking about going to El Nido and camp in one of the islands (just for a few days, I have to say you guys were really crazy for staying there for 2 weeks, haha), but I'm still trying to gather up enough courage as I'm most likely gonna have to do it alone (unless I can bribe some of my friends). Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next part of your movie. I'm always curious as to how travelers from other countries see the Philippines. Cheers to big dreams! :)
I am planning to go back to SE Asia end of the next year and will visit Philippines definitely, it is really beautiful country. A lot of undiscovered places which you cannot find anywhere in the world.
Be careful with your stay on the island, it is not so easy as it sounds. Water is the most important thing. Secondly, we, for example, did not have any phone in case of emergency, the island we have been on did not have coverage. So please make sure someone will be able to pick you up in case of emergency.
If you need any info/advice please let me know. This will be really big experience for you, I can guarantee!
Thanks a lot! I'm gonna try to have a friend go with me. I understand it could be a little tricky camping there by myself, even for just a few days.
And you're right, a lot more places to discover in the Philippines. I've lived here all my life, and I'm still nowhere near seeing everything it has to offer. I'm currently on a quest to explore every province in the country(all 81 of them), and so far, it's been a wonderful experience.
Let me know when you come back, maybe I can help you plan your trip if you decide to visit other places in the country.
Thanks Janeca, will contact you when I will find myself in PH again :)
As far as I know, Palawan is the best place for finding undiscovered by tourists places, so if you have just visited Puerto Princesa, you still have a lot to discover in Palawan! :) Port Barton for example, I was there for 6 days and seen maybe 10 foreigners.
